The EZ-2000 series printers are the industrial strength companions to our 1000 series. As all EZ series printers, they offer an excellent blend of simplicity, economy, strength, and reliability. EZ-2000 models are larger, stronger, more rugged and have greater capacities than our desktop printers. Prices start at under $1000 for a fully featured thermal transfer printer. There are two models, the EZ-2200 and EZ-2300 with print resolutions of 203 dpi and 300 dpi, respectively. The 2000 series have a patented all-metal mechanism housed inside a sturdy metal case that will hold label rolls up to 10 inch O.D. and 450M ribbons. The printer will use ribbons coated ink side in or out. Spent ribbons are rewound on cores and are easily removed. No more difficulty threading ribbons and labels through the printer; the entire label and ribbon path is easily accessible from the side. Fanfolded labels may be used through a slot in the back of the printer. A window in the side of the case allows operators to easily check ribbon and label status. In addition to being easy to load, the 2000 series are also easy to service. The print head has an insta-change mechanism - Simply reach in and pull it out.

 

In addition to printing from software or Windows drivers, the 2000 series may also be used stand-alone without a computer. The printer has a PS2 connector in order to attach a standard PC keyboard. Using the included software, it is possible to create label templates with prompts for the user to respond to. The template is then downloaded to the printer. Multiple label templates may be stored in the printer and used when required. Prompts and inputs appear on the printer’s display. The large graphic display also has contact information in the event of service.
